Bauer Xvi Senior
is this the hockey stick for me?
I bought the nike bauer vapor XVI and its an 87 flex senior stick, i used it alil but due to a crushed pinky i havnt been able to play. i like the reach on it, but my shot seems off abit. I wanna know if this was a good choice in stick for me?
im 17, 5'8 and 130 pounds
Obviously stick type, length, blade curve, weight, etc are all based on your likes. It's hard to tell you what stick is the perfect fit. It's like guessing someones shoe size and correct fit for a shoe (or skate) without having their feet! Everyone is different.
In my experience, I tend to go with a less expensive stick, especially when you're 17. You're either going to grow out of a stick or break a $100 stick.
Get a decent one and figure out if you like it. When you get to be older and stop playing competitively these things become less important than just being able to play. (my unrelated $.02
