Demarini Vendetta Big
What is the best baseball bat that I should use?
I am 13 years old and I need a big barrel bat. I am a power hitter, 5'0, and usually use a 31' bat. Weight of course matters. I wanted to use either a COMbat bat (if they have that in big barrel size), a DeMarini Voodoo, a DeMarini Vexxum, an Easton Stealth, a DeMarini Vendetta, or a TPX Triton or an EXO. I am confused. I don't care about the price but I want to get homers and triples, and doubles. Big Barrel only. Please state why I should get that type of bat. (BASEBALL)
Ted Williams wouldn't agree with you. He felt that a bat should feel like a wand in your hands. I have a video of him from 1978 spring training: " I swear that I've never seen more skinny handles and big barrels... take a forty oz bat at 80 mph or a 32oz bat at 100mph and you've got exactly the same hitting units-3200-but what do you gain? That's easy; you can wait longer, be short and quick, and be more consistent. You can't get those big barrels through as quickly. Still, it's hard to talk to these young guys. We sent 5 guys down to the minors 2 years ago. And they''ll rot there because they're too stubborn to listen. One guy strikes out 10 times for every homer he hits; what the hell good is that?".....
