Kick Pads Great
HELP! What size quad fish should i get?
I have been surfing for about 3yrs and i'm getting pretty good. I have a 6'2'' long/funboard kinda thing w/ a kick pad. I really wanna go small with a quad fish maybe a retro or a maverick fishcuit. I surf in Long Beach, NY and the waves are usually chest to head high. I heard fishboards could be great for that height. I was leaning towards a 5'8'' or a 5'6'' but since have never road one i'm not sure on the sizing. plz help

Your heading in the right direction. Quad are great and twinzers are fun too. I'm 5'9" 165lbs and I ride quads and twinzer fishboards that range in length from 5'9" to 6'2". I had a 5'6" fish that I didn't like at all. Maybe it was the fin setup...Deep Keel fins, but it felt a little too short and thick. I would say the 5'8" quad fishboard should be perfect for you
