King Kevlar Field
What field hockey stick should I get?

I play sweeper and occasionally left wing. I currently use a Grays Karachi King Kevlar (its a wooden stick not composite) with a shorti head and medium weight. Since it is wearing out from being used in both competitive and club games, I'm looking for a stick to replace it for use in club games (don't play for school anymore) and use the old one as a back up. I don't think I'll stick with playing offense much longer, so which sticks should I look at for playing as a sweeper? If I chose to keep playing offense as well, which sticks should I also consider?

I use Grays as well! I think its the best one i've used and i've used Slazenger and this weird one calle Kookarai. You can always try out different types but you can have a new stick that has different properties than your current one. For defence positions, there are special sticks. they're kinda curved at the bottom but it is larger than normal ones, it kinda looks like a hook. My friend uses one and she says its pretty good. Anyways its up to you, have a look on google for that sweeper stick.
