S Fractured Eye Socket????
About a week ago I was hit in the face by one of my girlfirends, and let me tell you it was no love tap. Needless to say, I didn't fell it at the time and gave her what she deserved. When I woke up the next morning my eye was completely shut and purle and red. It was a week ago this past friday and my black eye is mostly gone. The only thing that I still have is purple around my eyelashes, it looks like eyeliner, and black undermy eye still.
My only concern is my upper eye socket. Around my brow line is a lump about the size of a peanut. It is sooooo sore to the touch and hurts in general when I look up or down. It hurts to the point that it feels like it is burning, I have taken pain relief but nothing is helping.

Should i got to th ER and get X-Rays- I am not trying to sound like a Sally but it is very painfull.

You will spend much more at the ER then at the doctor's office... call your family doctor---(you pay a co-pay and that's it if you have insurance) he can send you to get x-rays and then do what is appropriate (if anything ) after he views the x-rays.... going to the ER will cost you a higher co--pay at best and then you would still have to find a doctor after (possibly) if there really IS something wrong with the eye-socket.... save some money---call your doctor and have him (or her) look at it.
