Receiver Gloves Gray
What color football gloves can you wear in high school?
I was looking to buy a new pair of gloves for high school football. I play wide receiver and I wanted to buy a pair of red and white cutters gloves. But a friend told me they had to be gray, and I thought that rule was only in the nfl and in ncaa. There is also a lot of people on my team that have colored gloves, but i am still unsure.
The gray glove rule is NCAA which is not a problem unless you play in TX or MA.
HS rules only say the gloves have to be stamped or have a tag stating they are made in accordance with NFHS specifications. That is, unless they are made out of unaltered plain cloth, which I've never seen.
