Size Batting Helmet
my softball batting helmet wont fit right?
i just bought a new helmet for softball couple of months ago and it doesn't feel right when i put it on. its the right size because its adjustable but it always is slipping up and when i run i have to hold it down. i need something like a chin strap but i cant find one because i have a face guard so i need a chin strap that will go around it. i have 2 things were my ears are and ma be they can go throw there. i need to see if i can fix it before my game on tues. and my family doesnt have alot of money so buying a new one is out of the question

If you are playing ASA ball, a chinstrap is required by rule. The store where you bought the helmet should have them for about a dollar each.There are two snaps right under the ear holes where the strap attaches. It is elastic and goes under your chin.
NFHS (High School) and NCAA do not require the strap. I'm not sure whether USSSA, ISFA, USFA, NSA and the other alphabet leagues require the straps, but they are legal in all of them.
